Microsoft Script Editor

Hi csand

The Microsoft Script Editor can be used as a stand-alone program and there
are hooks into it from lots of applications. Word is just one of the
applications that can use it. If Word isn't running, then the problem is
almost certainly not a Word problem.

Try this: In Internet Explorer, Tools > Internet Options. On the Advanced
Tab, un-tick
- "Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer)"
- "Disable Script Debugging (Other)"
- "Display a notification about every script error"

If you have further problems, I suggest you post to a Windows or Internet
Explorer group, where you'll probably find people who deal with this kind of
thing every day.

Hope this helps.
