microsoft outlook, untitled message

I have somehow changed the default settings on Untitled Message. When I type
"New" and get to point of adding text to a new e-mail, the "bold" button is
highlighted. I have tried changing format, autoformat, Etc. I do not want
"bold" to be highlighted when I begin text. How do I change it? Thanks for

Hi Timothy,
Assuming you use Word for editing E-mail,
Open Word
Tools
Options
General tap
E-mail options
Under New messages click Font button
Set font type Regular and click OK
