I have set up an accout with microsoft outlook express
and i know how to send e-mail with it but i cant recive
any? Also i have been wanting to set up a newsgroup but
it says i need a server address where do i get one at?

Step by step instructions to set up a newsgroup.

http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/resources.htm#setupmsnews
Or:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=/directory/worldwide/en-gb/newsout.asp
Or:
http://home.earthlink.net/~fightingfinn/nntp_posting.html
Almost everything you could think to ask:
http://home.mchsi.com/~resident.resident/newsgroups.htm

It is highly recommended that you enter a fictitious e-mail address
when setting up an account to avoid receiving Spam or worse. Ex.
(e-mail address removed). Your real address is not needed to post to a
newsgroup.

As far as your other problem, we need more details. What happens when
you try to receive? What happens if you send an e-mail to yourself?
Any error messages. Mail rejection replies? Have you checked with
your server that all the entries are correct in
Tools>Accounts>Mail>All Tabs?

Excuse me. Should have read: Tools>Accounts>Mail>Properties>All Tabs.
