Why does my Sent Items folder only retain about the last
10 days of sent messages. In Box working fine and
holding all messages from 1 year ago.

Sent Items may be corrupt.
Move all messages out of there that you want to keep,
Tools>options>maintenance>store folder and note the location.
Close OE.
In Windows Explorer navigate to the location you noted and delete Sent
Items.dbx
Open OE and a new uncorrupted folder will be created.

Hints and tips :-
Do not store any mail in the default folders of OE, use folders created
by you under Local Folders.
Disable "compact messages in the background" under
tools>options>maintenance and do this manually, frequently whilst
offline.

I too would like to know. How do you create those folders to open
and associate with Outlook Express. Just make a folder and name it and
place mail in there. Is that all? Nick
