Microsoft Outlook 2003, e-mail editor

I just purchased Microsoft Outlook 2003 and would like to use my current
version of Microsoft Word as my e-mail editor. Do I need to purchase Word
2003 in order to use word as my e-mail editor?

Yes. Versions of Word & Outlook must match in order to work together.
