Microsoft office document scanning

I deleted the preset in Microsoft office document
scanning by mistake, can I roll back my computer setting
or what else would you suggest. I can no longer scann a
document in color.

First, try System Restore as you suggested. Start\All
Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.

If that fails, try a repair install of Office or just the Word Module, you
will be offered that option upon inserting the CD in the Office CD in the
drive. Failing that, try a reinstall of Office.
