Rob Giordano (Crash) said:I dunno much abt Framework... does something have to be shut down to allow
the update to install ? If I go back to the update site, it tells me the
updates are already downloaded but not installed yet. Two of them 1.0 & 1.1
service paks - on same machine
| Yes, I have one PC that will not allow .NET SP to be installed.

| Tom, I used Microsoft Update to automatically update my
| XP Home system. Where do you find the full version of SPs
| to manually update service packs? Now that my system is
| upgraded through SP2, it's impossible (or nearly so) to
| delete them. I'd just like know where the full versions are
| located in the case SP3 becomes available in the future. Thanks.

Tom Pepper Willett said:Joe: The full downloads are not always available at the same time
as the
Windows Update - Microsoft Update - Office Update. But, I find
using the
full version from a download (first download it to your pc before
installing) causes much less problem. I have never installed any
service
pack for any software from an update situation. And, in all of our
work
pcs, plus my pcs, never have had an issue.
