Microsoft Office 2003/Outlook Glitch

I am running Microsoft Office 2003 on Windows XP Pro.
Unfortunately I tried to send an e-mail that was very large...It is stuck in
my outbox and will not be deleted...I tried archiving it as well and it is
still in the outbox.
The error message I am sent says this message is too large to send........ I
am aware of that but need to know how to get it off the machine.............
As you can imagine It is trying to send itself each time my mail is sent and
received. Very annoying!
Please send me some help........and yes, I do need it in plain words.
