I have a Client who has uninstalled microsoft.net and now cannot connect to
the internet. Does anyone know if there is a connection between the two?

Thanks.

There is no necessary connection.

I wonder if your client's particular piece of software depended on
..NET. Many non-technical people don't understand the difference
between "connecting to the Internet" and getting mail or browsing the
Web. They report they can't do the first when really the problem is
the second or third.

Really I think you need to get more details on exactly what is wrong.
