Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 silkscreen coming off.

I have a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000, version 1.0 and
lately the silk screen has been coming off. The M,E,S,and D keys are
completely blank now. Is this common with these keyboards and is this
fixable other than putting stick on letters? I have had it just over a
year.

Not sure with your model exactly, but I've got a keyboard here from another
manufacturer and the keys are wearing off after only less than 6 months.
Maybe I use the "A" key a little too much?

Doesn't matter to me if keys are missing since I type over 80 words per
minute without looking and using only a combination of two fingers.
