Problem:
Upgraded from windows 98 to Win2000 Prof.
Now Ms-dos commands elicit error:
"Command is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. "

Is there a fix for this?
I cannot use Ms-dos commands at all.

Thank you,
basheer

Do all such commands fail? What about 'echo off', 'dir', 'set abc=xyz'?

Or is it perhaps that you are trying to use "commands" that were available
on your Win98 system, but that are not available in w2k?

In short, which commands are you having this problem with (please don't say
"all of them"; tell us at least two or three).
