Microsoft Intelli-Mouse Explorer

Hi - I posted this on Microsoft Hardware, and no one has been near that
newsgroup to reply, so I am asking for help here

I have an Intelli-mouse Explorer 4.0 less than 12 months old. When the
button is clicked to highlight letters, it is not highlighting all the time,
its as though it is sticking.

Can you suggest anything?

Im using Windows XP Home Edition, I have I Explorer version
6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519 though I have been using Mozilla for
quite some time (version Firefox 1.0.7)

By the way, could you tell me if the Microsoft Internet Keyboard Pro is
still available with the 2 usb ports?

My optical Mouse does not shut off when my PC is off it is a PS2 mouse
