error:
Faulting application svchost.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module unknown,
version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00000000. this happen twice already during
startup. I got Window XP sp2 with all the recent update installed. Are there

Are you running SpySweeper? Try disabling that and restart the system to
see if the error pops up again. I am having the same problem on 3 machines
and after disabling SpySweeper or uninstalling it I havent had the problem
at all.

I've been having this Win32 Generic Host Process error for some time now &
it's getting on my nerves!
I've tried everything posted on this site & it still keeps coming back. Some
have said it's a virus (have run numerous anti-virus/Spyware/Malware progs)
but have found nothing, I've disabled DEP values or RPC values or similar,
but still nothing.
In one of the later posts about this error, someone mentioned that it's to
do with Windows XP SP2 - I thought that I'd installed this, but when I check
under Add/Remove Programs with 'Show Updates' ticked, the SP2 update doesn't
appear to be there.
Does ANYONE have a definitive solution to this irritating problem - it has
also been mentioned that some HP products have caused this, but I have never
owned or installed any HP products.
Please help...
