In the program files folder there is a Microsoft Front
Page folder that I can not delete. When I try to delete
it I get an error message that states that another program
or person is using its bin folder. The bin folder is
empty. Microsoft Front Page has never been installed on
my computer. Can anybody tell me where the Microsoft
Front Page folder came from and why its bin folder is
always in use?

Thanks

It could be that the FrontPage Express is installed on your system.

Please check under add/remove programs under windows components.

Good luck!

If you DO take out Frontpage, be prepared for office not
to work unless you put in the Office CD at which point it
will automagically install Frontpage again.

I've tried to take it out unsucessfully a few times, and
then my Word, Excel, Outlook and all that good stuff
doesn't work unless you click cancel about 10 times to
stop the popups from loading which is a HUGE pain in the
butt.
It's easier to just let Frontpage sit there and rot than
it is to try to get rid of it in my opinion.

Good luck
