Microsoft force feedback wheel

My force Feedback wheel doesnt work. When i go to the
control pannel and attempt to check it it isnt shown. If
I try to install the drivers that came with it I get
errors (diferent ones everytime)

My system is plenty up to date and I have the same
problems on my moms/dads. It does work on my sisters and
she has xp though.

PS: I dont have a gameport but I use an adapter to take
it to usb.

The USB adapter isn't working..... the USB port on your PC has absolutely no
idea what's connected to it as the gameport on the wheel can't send the
relevant information.

Either purchase a separate soundcard with a gameport on it, or a new USB
wheel.
