Microsoft Fingerprint Reader & Vista Sidebar bug.

Hardware: Microsoft Fingerprint Reader (DigitalPersona, Inc.)
Driver: Microsoft Fingerprint Reader 3.0.0.187
OS: Windows Vista Business

For some reason, every time my mouse hovers over the sidebar, I get a
fingerprint login prompt. That never happened before. How did this bug
happen and how do I get rid of it?

I downloaded the program from Microsoft on the off-chance that I just needed
to reinstall the thing. DPPM_201_ENG (v2.0.1) and now the log in bug only
happens with my address book gadget on the sidebar. Weird. What now?

This is driving me crazy as well. It actually overwrites gadgets such as
calculator, impeding me from even typing in numbers for a simple calculation.
I hope there's a fix for this soon. That's it, I'm going into my registry
to see if there is a way to stop it from looking at every page that contains
an input field.

I don't have this MSN account on mine and I am still having the fingerprint
icon over the top of my gadgets too. I have deleted the software out and
reinstalled it even though it was the latest and greatest. This is also a
new Dell with vista Ultimate so there was never any old programs to wreak
havick with the software. It was also I believe one of the very first
programs I installed after setting up the computer. Now it didn't do it the
first couple days but as I added more gadgets it started doing it.
