Microsoft Antispyware

When I try to update the new beta, MSAntispyware freezes? I try ending the
program and report the error to MS, but have to shut down computer to
recover. XP SP2, IE, NIS2006 work fine. Spybot and Registry Checker do the
same when updating. I have read several posting in different sections of
this newgroup and noticed some similiar posting, but not exactly as I am
experiencing. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no avail. Any
assistance will be greatly appreciated.
