microsoft antispyware blocking windows updates

microsoft antispyware blocking windows updates. i'm not
sure how to correct this in the settings. please help

Please be more precise about blocking. I've not seen a similar problem on
any of my machines.
 
Go to Real Time Protection > System Agents > under System Agent Checkpoints,
scroll down and select "Windows Update Service", in the right hand pane
under "Checkpoint Details", make sure that the check for it is not
"deactivated".
