microsoft anti-spyware does not detect spyware

I downloaded MS spyware Beta1 version 5743 yesterday and
every time I scan with it, it indicates 0 spyware found. I
already have an existing spyware program from another
vender and I ran it immediately after I scaned with MS and
found 6 new spyware. I did every thing properly. Iwould
like to know if the MS system actually works?

Yes MSAS does work.
This version of MSAS does not detect cookies.

Hi Ray,
Yuppers. It works just fine. In the Beta1 version, the program doesn't go
into the cookie jar, nor does it chase data miner objects.
