There is reasonably good, useful Access training available at the Office
Online website, for free. Not enough to make a raw novice into an
accomplished developer, but enough to make a raw novice into a competent
end-user. The Roadmap for Access 2003 Training is at
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/access/HA011189511033.aspx. A little
exploration will, I am sure, turn up additional information for Access 2007.
About a year ago, researching for a client, I was disappointed to learn that
some well-known companies who publish CD- or DVD-based training materials
had not updated their Access products since Access 2000. But, I know of two
people who are working with different companies on Access 2007 training
material... theirs is "in process" and not yet available, but a good
indication of training companies' interest in updating.
