Microsoft Access 1.0

Hi all! Does anybody know where I can download Access 1.x? (Don't laugh)
This is old software, but believe it or not there is a project (still
running) that I'm tweaking and then migrating (man!). I have searched
online, but nothing. I don't think MS would mind, since this is obsolete and
pre-historic. Just to get this thing working until the decent project
migration to Access XP.

Any links anyone?

Does anybody know where I can download Access 1.x?

You can't legally download it from anywhere. The only version available for
download is the new Access 2007 version as part of the Office Suite. It's
available for a 60-Day trial.

I don't think MS would mind, since this is obsolete and pre-historic.

If you don't think Microsoft would mind if you install pirated Microsoft
software, think again.

Check eBay. If I had seen your message six months ago I would have been
happy to mail you my copy, but it has been trashed.

Chances are good that you can find a copy of Access 2.0 on eBay or a site
specializing in selling old software. I know Access 2.0 could read and/or
convert Access 1.0 and 1.1 files, and am not sure about any more recent
version. And, you might find Access 2.0 on 3.5" diskettes, or possibly even
CD, but the only copies of Access 1.0 and 1.1 that I remember were on 5.25"
floppies, for which you may not have or be able to purchase auxiliary drives
now.

It may be easier to come by Access 2.0, and that program can open
1.0/1.1 databases without any problems that I've encountered.
