I am trying to use Team Speak and I don't seem to be able to get enough
Volume for people to hear me. Windows XP has a mic boost is there one in
Vista Ultimate 64?
This was a nice thing XP.

This may depend on you Soundcard driver.

Try this: right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar's notification
area, and choose Recording Devices. Double-click the Microphone icon when
the Sound window appears. Microphone Boost may be on the Custom tab. (You
may also want to check out the other tabs.)

Yes. Assuming yours is the same as mine:

Control Panel - Sound - Recording tab - Microphone - Properties - Custom tab
- Microphone Boost.

Hi Jake--

I haven't used TS. I read a lot of threads urging people to tweak it when
sound was diminished or garbled. I'd hit the Team Speak forums. Meanwhile,
back at the Vista--edition does not matter for this--have you gone to
Control Panel>Sounds>rt.clicked Microphone>Speech Recognition
Options>Configure your Speech Recognition experience>(It's a Wizard)>Set Up
Microphone?

There is also a MSFT Speech newsgroup.

Hello Chad Harris: Your Democratic 110th Congress (that you helped elect)
so far has only passed 19 or 20 Public Laws, compare that to Last Year's
Republican 109thCongress, which Passed 487 Public Laws.
