micro word- dialog box open cant run?

every time i go to open my micro word a pop up says "the command cannot be
performed because a dialog box is open. click "ok" then close open dialog
boxes to continue" i click ok the window closes and i don't know how to get
it to run...help please.

Have you checked to make sure there are no other dialog boxes open
anywhere? Sometimes there may be a dialog box hidden behind another
window. Sometimes when I get that warning, I discover there is a dialog
box I had forgotten about, or that I didn't even know was open. I find it
by minimizing all my open windows, one at a time, until the other dialog
box appears. Once I deal with that other dialog box, then I can run the
command I wanted to run originally.
