mht/mhtml opens without web content

whent i open mhtml files in windows me with IE 5.5 SP2, I
get only text with MIME headings. I tried the sugguested
method from microsoft help (using http:\\ instead of ftp)
but that still doesn't work.

The mhtml file is fine because i can open it in another
computer.

please help,

Why are you asking about that version in here?

FYI there were some problems with that filetype in IE6sp1
but since the latest updates they seem to be better. YMMV.

Why not update?
