Metadirectory use (MMS) with 2000 AD?

Does anyone know if you can use Microsoft Metadirectory
Services to keep two separate Windows 2000 AD Forests
synchronized or is it used for synchronizing with third
party directories only?

You can sync two AD forests with it. BTW it is called Microsoft Identity
