I was given this program via download years ago from Web Position.
Matter of fact you can see some of the spam from this company discussed
at Google about this same product.

I for one loved the program and used it often. Thanks to Microsoft I
got to completely reformat my hard drive and lost the downloaded
program. I have asked the company to resend it to me, and they state
they changed hands " new owners " and no longer have a copy.

What kind of crap is that????

Anyway, if you do have the program and can send me a copy I would be
very grateful. Since the company no longer supports it, and I did
acquire it originally by upgrading other software, I do not feel I am
in violation of any law.

Can't you restore it from a backup?

Meta Magician was a Commercial Program which has been replaced by
another Commercial Program called Meta Manager:

At times Meta Magician ($49) was given as an inducement to purchase
other software, but it was never freeware.
 
I thought I mentioned I do not have the program backed up. I also
understand the program was not freeware, but it was a program I was
given not because I purchased it, but purchased other programs thus
they allowed me to download the program. As far as the legality of
getting the program from someone, I am not concerned.

1) I can verrify I purchsed the product and have the email where I was
mailed the link to download the program.

2) They no longer support the program and have an email from the
company stating that as well.

Thus sooner or later someone who does use the program will read this
thread, will send me the program, I will then back it up, and live
happily ever after....

Have you looked at any freeware solutions? Such as:
