If you are talking about the "Messenger Service" You can enable XP's built
in firewall to stop the pop-up's cause by it https://www.microsoft.com/technet/t...nol/winxppro/proddocs/hnw_enable_firewall.asp
If you are talking about Windows Messenger, open Windows Messenger and goto
Tools>>Opitons>>Preferences>>Uncheck ALL the boxes on that tab.
If that still doesnt do what you want, goto C:\Program Files\Messenger and
rename the folder to something like Win Messenger. This will make it so the
program will NEVER run.
