I left my Messenger status set to "away" last night, and when I went back on this morning, it told me that I had to log in because I had logged in somewhere else. I haven't given my password to anyone, so this made me worry that someone else was using my account or something. So, I immediately changed my Passport password. I was logged off Messenger most of the day, and now when I just went to open it, it says I have tried too many times to log in with the wrong password. Now I really think someone somehow got my info. Is there anything else I should be worried about? Is there anything else I can do

Thanks in advance for the help!

Forgive me,I can't abide those chat programmes. From where
I'm sitting, you probably made two mistakes.

1.You were connected to the internet, all night, logged on
to Messenger.

2.By leaving your status set to "away",you basically said:
"Hey,my computer is on,I'm connected to the net,but I'm
not here right right now."
In other words, the door is open, but there's nobody home.

You might be lucky. This time, being locked out of your
account might just be due to you getting frustrated and
mistyping the password,or a technical glitch.

For future reference,if you *have to* use this type of
IRC programme:ALWAYS log right out if you are not using
the "service".There is no earthly reason you need leave
your status as "away" over night. It's an open-ended
invitation for mischeif-makers.
