endpopups.com or messengerkillerdot com is this just a

was thinking about doing a system restore jsut to start
from scratch but my comp is new any help would be greatly
appreciated

get yourself a firewall (www.zonelabs.com ...Zone Alarm is a good one, and
free) or activate XP's built in firewall. If you'd rather not (and I'm not
sure why you wouldn't want a firewall, you could just de-activate the
Messenger service. Right click My Computer > Manage > Services and
Applications > (Right Pane) Services > Right-click Messenger > Properties >
Stop. Then set "Starutup type" to "disabled". But like I said, you'd be
better off getting a firewall.
