Messenger Service Failed

I came back from vacation and the cannot log into windows messenger using
..NET. I am able to log into webmessenger.msn.com with my credentials as
well as passport.net. I updated to latest version, still no luck. Any help
would be appreciated.

The error I get is:
Signing into .NET Messenger Serive failed because the service is temporarily
unavailable. Please try again later. The service status shows up and
online.

Make sure the (e-mail address removed) (@hotmail.com) is in the user id field
