Maybe You should try going to the main messenger window
and going to the toolbar and clicking on tools and then
options and then untick the box that says "Log on to
messenger when connected to the internet" but dont hold
me to it
The easiest solution for this is to simply remove the saved .NET Passport in your Windows XP
account. To do so, click the Start Button, then click the Control
Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and then on
the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In
the window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'.
