messenger email notification

I haven't used windows messenger in a long while. Can
anyone tell me if the new version of windows messenger or
msn messenger 6.0 has the ability to check a pop3 email
account? I know it does hotmail but I don't use hotmail.

Unfortunately it can't -- Messenger only checks Hotmail/MSN.com accounts.

if you add the messenger plus to msn messenger 6 you can check your POP3
e-mails you can add up to 4 pop e-mail accounts for it to check , you can
get it from http://www.msgplus.net/
