Messanger pings that I have a message but not so

Help. Everytime I start my computer Messanger pings and has a little
balloon that says I have messages from HP Service but when I go to
look there is never anything there. I have used HP Service in the past
but nothing is pending.

Can someone tell me how to disable this but still be able to auto
start Messanger and use it.

I'm not quite sure what this "HP Service" balloon that you're seeing is coming from, but it
isn't from Windows or MSN Messenger. A screenshot of this might be helpful in deterring what
exactly you're seeing.
