messaging interface unknown error

After I installed Outlook 2003 I was able to open my attachments just fine.
I reformated my computer at a later date and reinstalled the program. Now
anytime I click on an envelope icon for an attachment, it gives me the
"messaging interface unknown error..." message and I need to save the
attachment to my hard drive before I can open it.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? I've already uninstalled and
reinstalled 3 times as well as running the "Detect and Repair" feature.

Hi,
sounds like a corrupt profile,
please create a new profile to solve your problem!
 
Thanks for the info, however after I created a new profile, the problem was
still there.
