Messages staying in outbox?

Suddenly my outgoing email messages are staying in the outbox. Some have
photos attached, some don't. How do I fix? I have Office Standard Edition
2003.

1. Depending on the reason, some may be blocked by your ISP
for invalid e-mail addresses if they are to others on the
same server.
2. They may be large enough that they violate the ISP's rules.

Open one of the unsent items and click Send. Watch for the
error message. It usually will provide a clue.
