Messages Not Sending

I just set up my windows email account, i can receive emails but i cannot
send any out. Why is it that i cannot send any emails?

Please give me some advice of what i can do.

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject '', Account:
'pop.aol.com', Server: 'smtp.aol.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '556

You will find a complete set of instruction for setting up AOL here:
http://postmaster.info.aol.com/imap/express.html.
The instructions are for Outlook Express, but they work in Windows mail

You have to use the IMAP settings, not the POP settings.
