Today and yesterday I have noticed that whenever I select this newsgroup
using Outlook Express there are no new messages for a couple of hours.
Then I get a few and then nothing for another hour or so. This seems
very strange given the volume that has been here in the past.

Has anyone else noticed this? And, if not, what my be going on here
that would cause OE6 not to find new messages?

Thank you.

Hi Jack!
I have noticed the same thing.May be the server is too
busy and taking time to get updated.

The microsoft server has been acting up the last few days. If you have
newsgroups thru your isp, use their server instead. They will most likely
carry this group. I switched to my isp's server and its very fast. 10 times
better than the ms server ever was.

Thank you very much. That makes me feel better 'cuz I thought I was
being singled out for abuse. :)

Thank you. The last time I checked, none of the microsoft.public groups
I follow were on their server. Will check again and see if they are
now.

You're welcome.

The MS server seems to be suffering from the electronic equivalent of
Irritable Bowel Syndrome: severe constipation, followed by diarrhoea.

The servers have been having a very bad time and are barely usable,
following a flood of messages about and including the Swen worm. The
result is that messages you post on one slave server take hours rather
than minutes to propagate over to the other ones, so if you happen to
connect next time to a different one (as is likely as the load gets
balanced) you may not get to see it.
