Messages disappeared from Inbox

I have Outlook 2007. I had my Inbox open today and clicked on the button to
sort by the "From" column. When I clicked back to sort by "Received", all my
e-mails from this week disappeared. The most current e-mail is from 5/4/07.
I don't have Groups set up and I haven't archived. My view is set to
Messages. Any ideas?

Tried resetting your view already? View-> Current View-> Customize Current
View-> Reset Current View

I tried changing my view to every option. Rebooted several times. Restarted
Outlook several times. I think the messages might be getting sent to my
Deleted Items but it's hard to tell because I get several hundred e-mails per
day.

It's even harder to tell for us from here. Why not cleaning out your Deleted
Items folder?

I'm using outlook 2007. Every few days my inbox contents disappear without
warning. Sometimes they'll be there for five days, sometimes for 3. Theres
no pattern. Sometimes they disappear when the in box is open and sometimes
they're simply notthere when I open it. They havnt gone to deleted items or
anywhere else. and it set to not archive messages. all rules have been
deleted. its still happening

Have you checked your view of the in-box? View->Current View->ensure it is set to all messages.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.
