I just got my laptop back after being repaired by Dell and now, when I try to
send an e-mail with a picture or video attached, it sits in the Outbox while
it gets broken up into pieces - ie- "Sending 1 of 32 parts".
WHY???? HELP????
Thanks.
Laurie

FWIW: The OP didn't mention Outlook. I'd suppose it's just as likely the OP
is using Windows Mail.

Dunno which mail program you are using but in general terms look in the
settings for the mail servers and you will find one that allows you to
break messages up like this for compatibility with some long forgotten
mail servers that were about as fast as walking there to hand deliver :)

Most servers now allow big files although email is not a good way to
send files as it wastes a lot of space.

It is a setting issue anyway, not a fault.

Oops, misread thought I saw Outlook, but its was Outbox, I need to pay more
attention. Thanks DP.

Go Tools > Options > Send (tab) and make sure 'Send messages immediately' is
checked.

Assuming Windows Mail is your mail program:
Tools | Accounts
Select the account and then click Properties.
On the Advanced tab uncheck the option to break apart messages over a
certain size (or else change the size). Many mail servers have a limit on
the size of messages.
