MessageApp unable to close on shutdown

Hi there. Each time I shut down my computer, the
MessageApp (not sure what it is) tries to close and a
dialoge box comes up showing that it is trying to force a
close. But it is never able to close, so I have to
press "End Now".

Does anyone know why this happens / a fix for this?

Scan with current antivirus using updated definitions. Remove spyware
with tools like Spybot S&D and/or Ad-aware. Stop unnecessary programs
from running in the background. Post back with details if you need more
help after you've done this.
