I get the following message:

Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The
set of folders cannot be opened. The file C:\Documents and
Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.pst is not a
personal folders file

Any suggestions??

Try running the inbox repair tool (scanpst.exe) against the file mentioned.

Another thing to check is...was this a pst that was copied from a cd?

It is in "Read Only" on the CD. You need to copy it onto a
drive. Then select the properties of the file and turn off the
Read Only. To select the properties, just right click the file and
select "Properties".

Once you have done this you should be able to open
the data file into your Outlook program.

I am getting this error message when I am trying to open a pst file:

*.pst is not a personal folders file

And it is only 29 MB in size.

Please help me to solve this problem.

You are also going the right way to be IGNORED - you have posted this on
FIVE threads which are totally unrelated.
