Message Text Disappears When sending message with attachment

Sometimes when a user sends a message with an attachment, the actual text of
the message just disappears. The user does not realize it until looking at
the sent item, whcih only contains the attachments. We are using Outlook
2003 and this has happened randomly to different users.
 
Any news on this? I have a user with the same issue. Only happens SOME of the
time. Strange.
