Message Stuck in Outbox

I have a message stuck in my Outbox, Outlook 2007. I've tried to fix my
Microsoft to go offline, open up the message, and resend, but the file will
not open. Any advice?

What error message do you get when you try to open it? How long did you wait
after going offline? Is it stuck because its too big?

"Cannot open this item. Outlook has already begun transmitting this message"
However, the message has sent and I can even see it in my "Sent Mail"
I initially tried opening it immediately, but then waited an hour and still
got the same message.

After going offline, close outlook and confirm its closed. You could also
disable the network card or pull the plug but its usually not necessary.
When you reopen, you should be able to delete it.
