I have put a rule in that says that if Viagra is in the body of
the message send it to the trash folder.

But it doesn't do it. Does that box around the drug advert.
stop it from recognizing the word Viagra in someway?

Thank you.

I'm going to have to guess that you're referring to the latest version of
Outlook Express. The message rules apply to text only.

If you are going to have messages moved to a folder, you have to use Stop
processing more rules .

Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the Subject line contains 'viagra'
Delete it
and Stop processing more rules

This one is better, you never even see 'em.

Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the Subject line contains 'viagra'
Delete it from server

Why don't my message rules work?

I use Spampal, which is an enhanced spam detection utility. Spammers are
getting smarter by "mis-spelling" their subject lines or send images.
