Message requesting to Enable or Disable Excel Macros

When opening an Excel spreadsheet, I get a message that
the spreadsheet contains macros and I am given the option
to enable for disable of get help. When I look for macros
in the spreadsheet, none show up. What is causing this
message to appear and how can I get rid of the message
since anserwing everytime is a paid.
