Message Recall Failure

Hi,
We have several machines in running Outlook 98 and Outlook
2000 SR-1.

Normally once the recipient receives the orig msg and the
recall msg while he is online, the orig msg should go by
itself as well as the recall msg. There is no need to
open the recall msg just to get the orig msg back.

But in our case, it does not work. When an Outlook 98
user sends and recalls a message to another Outlook 98
user, the recipient sees those orig and recall msg sitting
on his inbox and no automatic recall happens. Once he
opens the orig msg, the sender receives a recall failure.
But if he opens the recall message, a window opens and
asks if he would allow the recall of the message. If he
clicks OK, that's the only time that the orig msg is
recalled and a recall successful is sent to the sender.

The same scenario also happens to OUtlook98toOutlook2000
(and vice versa) and OUtlook2000toOutlook2000 machines.

I know that this is a bit weird but if anyone has already
encountered this problem, do you have any idea?

Thank you very much.

Rhea
