Message options in Outlook with a Word mail merge

I need to set message options, like voting buttons and request for read
receipt, when doing a mail merge from Word to Outlook (both 2000). How can I
do this? I already posted this question in the word section but nobody knew
how to do it.
 
Those options are not available in a merge operation unless you want to
disconnect from the network and edit each message in the Outbox and resend
it.
