"message interface error?"

email/outlook was working fine, then suddenly I began recieving a message
"message interface error". No error code listed. I cannot send or received
email. Also, I can not edit the accounts without recieving an error. Tech
support said I should set up a new profile and start again, but I was hoping
to figure out why this happened.

Thank you for your help, but the error is in Outlook 2003 and it happens with
every message, not those saved to pst files. I was told (by Dell Support) to
open a new profile within outlook. That worked fine for a day or two, but
I'm now recieving the same message. It acts a like a virus, but I've totally
scanned my machine.

Help!
