Message in outbox will not delete

I tried sending an e-mail with Outlook 2003 that has a 19 MB attachment. The
e-mail account (tied in with Hotmail) will not send, which I am guessing, is
due to the size of the attachments. So instead of sending it, I am trying to
delete the e-mail from the Outbox.

Using the Delete icon in the toolbar does not work. Right-clicking the
e-mail and then choosing Delete does not work. When I try opening the
e-mail, I receive "Can't open this item. Outlook has already begun
transmitting this message."

What can I do to delete it? I do not want this message sitting in my Outbox
forever.

Close Outlook... Access your Hotmail Account by webmail and delete the mail
in the Outbox in the Hotmail webmail.

I am having the same problem, but the solution you give below is not working
for me. There is no outbox on my hotmail webmail account. Any other
suggestions?

My problem is the same. I cannot see outbox in my comcast account.
