merging two presentation

You can.

With presentation 1 place the cursor at the end or where you want the merged
slides to go

Home Tab > Insert slides > at the bottom of the drop down 'Reuse slides'

Browse to the file > select 'keep source format' > right click a thumbnasil
and 'Insert all slides'
